The RSVPeople
In 1985, 24 young people from around the world had their RSVP pen pal requests published in the bestselling music magazine of the day - Smash Hits.

35 years later,
a couple from South London reply.

TO ALL OF THEM!
But...
...with only their old home addresses to go on, can any of them still be found?
And if they can, will they reply?
And then what?

They could be anyone and anywhere now, but three and a half decades ago they were pop fans looking to connect and Paul & Sarah will not let them down.
The search is on.

The Authors
Paul Chronnell
Paul is a produced screenwriter, has written for the stage and has seen his name fly past at the end of a variety of TV shows, including Spitting Image, Russ Abbot, Hale & Pace, Brian Conley, Talking Balls and Planet Mirth. He has had several commissioned ‘web guides’ published (just as Google was arriving to make such publications obsolete). He’s written humorous ‘Dad’ articles for Mother & Baby magazine as well as put bespoke words in the mouths of dozens of Brides, Grooms and Best Men on their wedding days. He also writes original short scripts for actors to shoot for their showreels. He is a Dad of two brilliant sons, a compulsive chatterbox, and should coffee and chocolate biscuits be readily available, a companion might need to cancel the rest of their afternoon.
Paul is represented by Matt Connell at Berlin Associates for all screenwriting and scripts.
N.B. Paul is not to be confused with the sports journalist of the same name (they’re actually second cousins).
Sarah-Louise Young
Sarah is a professional actress, singer, director, cabaret performer, writer and Olivier Award-winning improvisor. She has appeared in the West End with Julie Madly Deeply, Fascinating Aida, The Showstoppers! and La Soirée. She has created numerous shows and been a hugely popular addition to The Edinburgh Fringe for many years. She is one half of Roulston & Young and has gigged all over the world including Off-Broadway and 3 seasons at the prestigious Adelaide Cabaret Festival. She recently received huge plaudits for writing and performing in her one woman cult-cabaret: An Evening Without Kate Bush. She likes coffee almost as much as Paul does and reckons that £64 investment in Guardian Soulmates was the best money she ever spent.

N.B. Sarah-Louise is not to be confused with the adult entertainer of the same name - star of films such as Even Hitler Had A Girlfriend and Satanic Inferno. (They are in no way related. At all.)
